Share the Story: A project marking the 80th anniversary of the Holodomor
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress National Holodomor Awareness Committee and the Ukrainian World Congress International Holodomor Coordinating Committee have launched a new project on September 4 marking the 80th anniversary of the Holodomor titled Share the Story.
This project features the stories of Holodomor survivors on a web site www.sharethestory.ca. One story is being posted daily for 80 days leading up to International Holodomor Memorial Day on November 23, 2013.
We kindly ask all UWC member organizations to help Share the Story by promoting the project. Please add a link to the site on your organizational web sites, embed the videos on your sites and encourage your followers on Facebook and Twitter to join the awareness effort. Please let us know when your links have been posted so that we can promote your sites as well.
The Kyiv-based newspaper Kyiv Post has joined us to help promote the project. In addition to writing an article on the project (attached), it is re-posting our videos daily on its site. http://www.kyivpost.com/multimedia/
