Ukrajinská diaspora v ČR / svět

Ukrajinská národnostní menšina v ČR se v novodobé historii organizovala již po Sametové revoluci roku 1989. Dříve v několika vlnách již od XX. let XX. století. Postupně v ČR vznikala občanská sdružení a spolky aktivně se podílející na zajišťování kulturních, vzdělávacích i sportovních programů, vydávání periodik v ukrajinském jazyce, organizování humanitární pomoci Ukrajině aj. Ukrajinská diaspora je ve světě tradičně organizována v různých organizacích a spolcích. Za hranicemi Ukrajiny žije až 20 milionů Ukrajinců či lidí aktivně se hlásících k ukrajinským kořenům. Světová ukrajinská diaspora se sdružuje v těchto organizacích: Světový kongres Ukrajinců a Evropský kongres Ukrajinců.
